In spite of some reports regarding the adverse effects of oocyte cryopreservation (40-44), there was poor information related to the changes in mtDNA copy number and mitochondrial enzyme activity of oocytes after
vitrification. Therefore, the object of this study was determining the alterations in mtDNA copy number, ROS level, mitochondrial enzyme activity, TFAM gene expression and mitochondrial distribution in vitrified oocytes compared with non-vitrified group.
The cryopreservation of lateral buds was successfully obtained with the encapsulation
vitrification technique, using PVS2 incubation for 15 minutes before plunge into LN.
The MSCs were expanded up to passage 5 and subsequently subjected to
vitrification and global gene expression examination as described below.
In this study, we explored the effects of L-proline on mouse oocyte
vitrification.
In this follow-up work, we investigate how the modulation of autophagy with rapamycin during
vitrification affects the rates of vitrification-warming and IVF and development.
These include
vitrification (MARKOVIC et al., 2013; GANINO et al., 2012; MATSUMOTO and SAKAI, 2003; WANG et al., 2003a), encapsulation-dehydration (MARKOVIC et al., 2013; BAYATI et al., 2011; WANG et al., 2003a; WANG et al., 2000), encapsulation-vitrification (GRIBAUDO et al., 2012) and droplet
vitrification (PATHIRANA et al.
hombroniana shoot tips to cryopreservation using
vitrification technique.
A small system that could be set up next to individual waste storage tanks has been proposed as a demonstration project for the preparation of waste to feed to the
vitrification plant in its initial years of operation.
The effect of solid-liquid demixing, liquid-liquid demixing, and
vitrification on morphology of polylactide membranes has been investigated by Witte at al.
The Camel Reproduction Centre is pleased to announce the birth a dromedary camel calf born after successful
vitrification (freezing) and thawing of a 7 day old camel embryo.
