By measuring the mass of the recovered molecules in a known volume and temperature of sweep gas, the researchers calculated the
vapor pressure. The researchers also calculated the
vapor pressure of a second compound, cannabidiol, which is considered less psychoactive than THC.
Vapor pressure effects are noted separately from air temperature, since the latter typically becomes more important at longer time scales (i.e., through sensible heat flux, long-wave radiation, and water temperature).
The saturation
vapor pressure will rise over that of gasoline as it blends with low percentage methanol such as M15 and M30, which will lead to vapor block as it used under relative high temperature.
We established in Part 1 that small variations in
vapor pressure from one refrigerant to another, around 5% or less, pose no issue with TEV adjustment or operation.
where P is the
vapor pressure, torr; [omega] is the weight loss in grams during the effusion time interval t, sec; A is the area of the orifice, [cm.sup.2]; MW is the molecular weight of the effusing vapor, g/mole (or the pseudo-molecular weight of fractions evaporated during the cooling-heating cycle); T is the absolute temperature, K; [W.sub.0] is the Clausing probability factor obtained by interpolation from the table given by Dushman [19].
The actual
vapor pressure (kPa), [e.sub.a], was estimated using equation (11):
Figure 6 indicates that the CCHP system can benefit from higher inlet
vapor pressure, but not the higher inlet vapor temperature.
They are specifying a little lower
vapor pressure and a higher octane, but when it comes to the core components of it, it's the same," Petersen says.
This study investigated high school students' understanding of fundamental chemistry concepts - states of matter, melting, evaporation, condensation, boiling, and
vapor pressure, in relation to their understanding of the particulate nature of matter.
The size and shape of as-prepared [alpha]-[Fe.sub.2][O.sub.3] can be well controlled only by simply regulating the values of
vapor pressure in reaction systems.
Ambient pressure--the observed altimeter setting, for example--is defined as dry air pressure plus water
vapor pressure and expressed as Equation 3 on page 9.
