Imaging A format for delivering imaging services by transmitting digitalized images from angiography, CT, MRI, PET scanning, ultrasonography, and other imaging devices by satellite or telephone cabling to radiologists who may be located at a distance from the imaging site; conducting radiology image exchange and/or image interpretations electronically, usually via videoconferencing or messaging.
