telangiectasis," Archives of Ophthalmology, vol.
Liver samples from 50 bovines with hepatic
telangiectasis, were taken between 20 to 35 minutes after death at a local slaughterhouse, fixed by immersion in cold 3%glutaraldehyde in 0.1 M phosphate buffer, post-fixed in 1% osmium tetroxide, dehydrated in alcohol, embedded in PolyBed 812 (Polysciences Inc., Warrington, Penn., USA), cut, stained with lead citrate and uranyl acetate, and observed at the light and electron microscope.
Every time you drink, it dilates the blood vessels and boozing to excess levels can also lead to the development of
telangiectasis - a chronic dilation of the capillaries creating that permanent flush, or red/purple tinge, to the cheeks.

HD is also associated with several immune disorders such as systemic lupus erythomatosus (SLE), rheumatoid arthritis, ataxia
telangiectasis and other congenital immunodeficiency disorders.
Idiopathic juxtafoveolar retinal
telangiectasis (IRT) must be differentiated from other systemic and ocular diseases associated with telangiectasias like diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular occlusions, Eale's disease, retinopathy of prematurity, or sickle cell retinopathy.
Reported risk factors have been diabetes, older and younger age (neonates) and feeding tubes in neuromuscular disease patients including ataxia
telangiectasis patients [1].
