A new approach for direct sequence spread spectrum is introduced in this paper to generate the wideband signal by circularly shifting the spreading code by n places where n represents the value of an acquired byte of the information signal.
A more cost-effective approach is using a TDMA-based direct sequence Spread Spectrum. In a TDMA-based network only one remote at a time will transmit.

The DSSS-OFDM method, which combines direct sequence spread spectrum and OFDM, is a robust communication scheme for cruising sensor network in confined underwater space.
This is mainly due to spread spectrum distortions characterized by their asymmetry (with respect to the unmodulated [f.sub.sw] harmonics), as it can be observed, e.g., from Fig.
Hedy Lamarr never made a cent from inventing spread spectrum. But today, various forms of spread spectrum are among the most important concepts in wireless communications, and her protocol is now imbedded in numerous wireless products.
