Using the high-sensitivity NARVAL
spectropolarimeter installed at the Bernard-Lyot telescope at the Pic du Midi Observatory in France, a team of astronomers detected the effect of a magnetic field (known as the Zeeman effect) in the light emitted by Vega.
To compare the time behavior of energy release manifested by hard X-ray emission and derivative of soft X-ray emission with time profile of the pion-decay emission, we used, in addition to SONG data, the Solar
Spectropolarimeter (SPR-N) [37] data and GOES soft X-ray measurements.
Circular dichroism (CD) measurements were performed on a Jasco Model J-720
spectropolarimeter (Japan Spectroscopic Co., Tokyo, Japan), using a quartz cell with a 1 mm light path length, thermostatically controlled with a Jasco Model 423S Peltier-type temperature controller, and a thermostated cell holder, interfaced with a thermostatic bath.
For circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy, we used a J-715
spectropolarimeter (Jasco) operating at 37[degrees]C; spectra were recorded at 0.8 g/L protein with a 10-mm cell path length.
A CD
spectropolarimeter, an extremely sensitive instrument capable of accurately measuring in the 190-170nm range, is used to determine the absorption difference.
Spectra were collected with an Olis DSM-20
spectropolarimeter equipped with a CD 250 Peltier cell holder (Bogart, GA).
Circular dichroism experiments were collected using a JASCO J-815 CD
spectropolarimeter equipped with Peltier temperature control.
Circular dichroism (CD) measurements were performed at 25[degrees]C on a Jasco
spectropolarimeter, model J-815, equipped with a thermostatically-controlled cell holder under constant nitrogen flow after calibrating the instrument with (+)-10-camphorsulfonic acid.
CD spectra were measured on a J-815
spectropolarimeter (Jasco), c=1.5 mg/mL in Me0H at room temperature, quartz cuvette of 0.1 cm path length.
The protein-folding conformation of native heart CK-MB and rCK-MB2 was analyzed by measuring their circular dichroism at 25[degrees]C on a JASCO J720
spectropolarimeter (Jasco).
