smuggling control must be carefully handled.

The prime minister has taken a very serious notice of the situation and has ordered a number of measures to cleanse the society from the menace of

smuggling figure at ten, 15 and even 20 million liters a day.
It is also responsibility of the business community to discourage the sale and purchase of smuggled goods since
smuggling is incorrect legally, socially and culturally.
Quetta-Karachi highway was notorious for
smuggling of Iranian diesel.
The airport's Director General of Customs, Bandar Al-Ruhaili, said that these narcotic substances were foiled during four
smuggling attempts.
He said there was a need to equip the Customs Department with sophisticated equipment in view of the billions of ringgit in revenue which the government lost due to
smuggling activities.
