Branching and
serpiginous shapes are typical (arrowhead indicates a branch point).
Linear porokeratosis is a form of porokeratosis that present with linear pattern, and clinically, it is not different from the classic type of porokeratosis; it has the clinical presentation of the porokeratosis as keratotic papules or plaques, with the characteristic
serpiginous border and the specific ridge.
(A) Transvaginal pelvic ultrasound of the left adnexa demonstrates an elongated C- or S-shaped, thin- walled tubular
serpiginous cystic lesion with incomplete septations (long arrow).
There were widespread
serpiginous, erythematous patches with doubleedged peripheral scaling typical of ichthyosis linearis circumflexa on the body (Figure 1).
The plaques grow peripherally, with
serpiginous or verrucous borders, accompanied by central discoloration and atrophy [25].
Clinically an itchy, erythematous, linear
serpiginous tract appears within days to even months after exposure to infested sand or soil.
A third patient with
Serpiginous Choroidopathy improved from 20/80- to 20/60+1 in the right eye and from 20/50- to 20/20-3 in their left eye with increases in OCT, suggesting value in considering BMSC for atrophic retinal conditions.
We report here a case of a patient who presented with multiple reddish-brown keratinized papules coalescing to form
serpiginous plaques in the anterior and posterior of the neck, which was found to be typical D-penicillamine-induced EPS.
(5,6,7,8,9) Atypical, bullous, or chronic type CSCR may be confused with other diseases that can cause intraocular inflammation such as Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada (VKH) disease, posterior scleritis, sympathetic ophthalmia, multifocal choroiditis, and
serpiginous choroiditis.
Mucous patches may also present as whitish plaques that may coalesce and form
serpiginous lesions, referred to as snail-track ulcers [36].
During the hospital stay, she underwent a suprapubic ultrasound (US) examination revealing a high flow vascular lesion involving the uterine wall; a contrast-enhanced Magnetic Resonance (MR) (Figures 1(a) and 1(b)) showed multiple ectatic and
serpiginous anomalous vessels adjacent to the uterine wall bilaterally.
