The final product is made up of macromolecule proteins (e.g., amylase, lysozyme, carbonic anhydrase, and
secretory immunoglobulin A), various ions that influence the normal physiologic pH in the range of 5.4 to 7 (e.g., [Na.sup.+], [K.sup.+], [I.sup.-], [Cl.sup.-], [H.sub.2][[CO.sup.-].sub.3], and [Ca.sup.++]), and water.
