(vahs'ĕr-mahn), an obsolete test of historical interest only; the use of the Wassermann test from 1 or 2 days to 1 or 2 weeks after the administration of arsphenamine or neoarsphenamine; the result may then be positive when before the giving of arsphenamine it was negative.
