Polarization of such elements is carried out by applying positive potential difference to outer electrodes, the inner ones are not connected to the electric circuit.
Along the span of the junction (few angstrom [[Angstrom]]) the expected difference in the induced scalar curvature is very small [delta]R > [10.sup.-21] [[m.sup.-2]]; therefore according to (25) we may not hope for potential difference greater than [10.sup.-40] [V] which is unmeasurable.
The measured potentials are not comparable--just the potential differences between anodic and cathodic areas are comparable.
It is a plot of cell potential difference, [DELTA][[PHI].sub.cell] (V), versus current density (mA/[cm.sup.2]).
Based on the above analysis, we find that the positive potential difference between the ground and solar cells is a necessary condition for PID.
Data of 29 provinces and cities (Tibet, HK, Macao and Taiwan is excluded due to shortage of data within statistical period) is collected by "China Statistical Yearbook of Industrial Economy"; in view of technology potential difference formulated by TFP, combining the situations of direct investment overseas in manufacturing in recent years, the study regards ROK, Singapore and G7 member countries, totally nine countries as the main objects of OFDI.
