Broadband service provider Centric Telecom has switched on its Active Centric Core (ACC)
point of presence in the UK.
The services, which are meant for customers who use the company's TANet nationwide SDH backbone, range from replication of a company's data and storing it on a server housed in a
point of presence on the TANet network, to copying and storing a company's entire data centre in a mobile unit, which can be integrated at one of the points of presence when needed.
