Figure 13 shows the 100 g/L coating using pentyl propionate as the tail solvent at 4.5 mils DFT.
Reduction in microbubbles by DIBK is observed to be roughly equivalent to that of aromatic 100, and not as good as that of pentyl propionate.
They include some novel sulfide and polysulfides with ethyl, butyl and
pentyl groups.
Three metabolites were observed, with oxidation occurring on the pentyl chain (M9, M11, and M12).
Ion m/z85.0663 represented the carbonylated pentyl chain.
The dominant phase I reactions were hydroxylations and hydroxylation followed by oxidation at the pentyl chain (A1, A2, A8, [[DELTA].sup.9], A11--A14; A3, as glucuronide) or the indazole ring (A15; A5, A6 as glucuronides).
The mass difference was observed with all fragments, except for m/z 145.0395 and 163.0499, suggesting a hydroxylation at the pentyl chain.
Transesterification of Triglycerides as FA Pentyl Esters.
The second method was based on the transesterification of triglycerides as pentyl esters of FAs, in which elongation of the alcohol chain produced heavier esters and increased the length of the ester of butyric acid to nine carbon atoms.
Evaluation of anti-HSV-2 activity of gallic acid and
pentyl gallate.
Although XLR-11, which has a 5-fluoropentyl side chain at the indole nitrogen, is not mentioned in this publication, the assessment of receptor affinities for 2 closely related compounds, one with a nonfluorinated
pentyl side chain and the other with a 5,5,5-trifluoropentyl side chain, was reported.
(1R,3R,7R,8S)-1-Methoxy-8-methyl-6-(3a2-oxocyclo
