out of hours
adjective Referring to healthcare services in the UK which are provided in the evenings, at night and at weekends which, for most GP surgeries, is from 8 a.m. (0800) to 6:30 p.m. (1830). Out of hours is not the same as Extended Hours, which some GP surgeries offer as a so-called directed enhanced service.
