ol·i·go-α-1,6-glu·co·si·dase
(ol'i-gō-glū-kō'si-dās), A glucanohydrolase catalyzing the hydrolysis of α-1,6 links in isomaltose and dextrins produced from starch and glycogen by α-amylase; secreted into the duodenum; a deficiency of this enzyme leads to defects in intestinal digestion of limit dextrins.
