non-syndromic neuroendocrine neoplasms of the pancreas
A family of tumours of presumed neuroendocrine origin, which have been divided by the World Health Organisation into three grades of increasing aggressiveness, based on histologic criteria:
(1) Neuroendocrine tumour grade 1: 0–1 mitoses/10 high-power fields and a Ki-67 labelling rate of 0–2%.
(2) Neuroendocrine tumoru grade 2: 2–20 mitoses/10 high-power fields and a Ki-67 labelling rate of 3–20%.
