modified Baecke questionnaire

A modification of the Baecke questionnaire—a survey of habitual physical activity, such as sports, ranging from 1 (lowest activity) to 5 (highest activity)—that was developed for the elderly, and includes questions on household activities, sports and leisure time activities, over a time period of one year, resulting in a score that stratifies a population of interest into high, moderate or low daily physical activity.

In this study, the Spearman correlation coefficient between the physical activity scores obtained with doubly labeled water method and the modified Baecke questionnaire scores was reported to be 0.54, in a population of elderly women and men (95% CI 0.22-0.66).
