microinjection

A method of introducing DNA into a cell by direct injection into the nucleus, using a microcapillary pipette.

microinjection

a method for introducing new DNA into a CELL by injecting it directly into the NUCLEUS or CYTOPLASM using a thin glass needle. The technique has been used to inject cloned genes into the nucleus of an egg cell in vitro, to generate a TRANSGENIC ORGANISM.
