methylcyanoacrylate sterilization

The use of a surgical tissue adhesive for closure of the fallopian tubes as a method of female sterilization. A small balloon pump device is used to apply the material via the cervix. The method was developed as an alternative to the much-criticized but widespread practice of inserting pellets of quinacrine. Tests of toxicity have been passed.
