meningioma grade III

A generic term for high-grade (by WHO classification), aggressive meningiomas.

Grade III meningiomas
Aggressive epithelioid types of meningioma including papillary type (DiffDx with adenocarcinoma), rhabdoid (DiffDx with oncocytic meningioma), and any type which is characterised by ≥20 mitoses/10 high-power fields by light microscopy or which displays marked cytologic atypia.

Management
Complete removal without resection of dura.
