medullary carcinoma of pancreas

A poorly differentiated variant of ductal carcinoma of the pancreas, which is histologically characterised by syncytial growth pattern and pushing borders, often accompanied by necrosis.

Molecular pathology
May show microsatellite instability and/or mismatch repair deficiency.
