Identifying presence of a contact between the perforation and the
manubrium mallei
Caption: Figure 1: Anterior and posterior planar images of a [sup.99m]Tc MDP bone scan show increased radiotracer uptake within the medial left clavicle and
manubrium centered upon the left sternoclavicular joint and bilateral 1st costomanubrial joints.
In the
manubrium of the malleus fine channels run in direction of the umbo branching out into the periphery and ending close to the surface of the bone.
The Vertical Alignment of the Head (VAH) was defined as the angle formed between the vertical straight line and the straight line segment made by the glabella and the upper edge of the
manubrium. The results have demonstrated that the average between the angles of the HLH and the VAH to men, women and the total group do not vary statistically (p=0,737; 0,605 e 0,880; respectively).
The two skeletons were colonized by termites known as Nasutitermes corriger (Motschulsky, 1855), which left signs of osteophagic activity on the jaw bones, vertebrae of all segments, including sacral (Figure 2), scapulae, proximal humeral epiphysis, iliac (auricular surface), symphysis pubis and
manubrium of the sternum.
The ligaments of the pericardium are often attached to the mandibles and parotid fascia cranially, and to the first rib or
manubrium caudally" Al Qasemi added.
Midline cleft of the lower lip is a rare congenital anomaly first described by Couronne in 1819 and was classified by Tessier as No 30 facial cleft.1 Midline cleft of the lower lip is not associated with any identified hereditary factors or gender predilection.1 Clinical presentation of these patients varies from a mild notching of the lower lip to complete midline cleavage of the inferior face, including bifurcation of the mandible, tongue and neck.2 There is occasional, associated deformities of soft tissue structures derived from the lower branchial arches seen in these patients, there may be cleavage of the neck and
manubrium sterni.3
They looked at samples from 10 sites on each subject: the external auditory canal, forehead, occiput, retroauricular crease, back,
manubrium, antecubital fossa, inguinal crease, volar forearm, and nares.
