Surgical oncology A procedure used to treat breast CA, which consists of the en bloc resection of level I axillary lymph nodes, from the latissimus dorsi muscle–lateral, to the lateral border of the pectoralis minor muscle–medial, with clearing of the axillary vein–superior.
