kinesic channel, it has been shown that gestures and speech mutually and obligatorily interact in order to enhance language comprehension (Kelly, Ozyurek, & Maris, 2010).
Getting conductors to be more expressive--and less mechanically oriented, by implication--is the stated purpose in research of pedagogical methods such as Dalcroze Eurythmics (Baker, 1992; Dickson, 1992), Laban movement analysis (Gambetta, 2005; Holt, 1992; Plaag, 2006),
kinesic nonverbal communication (Krudop, 2003; Mathers, 2009), theater-acting exercises (Baker, 1992; Running, 2008), and metaphorical gestures (Wis, 1993), with mime also posed as a potential source of expressive gestures (MacKay, 2008).
In all this social

Second, the lawyer should present the story with careful attention to communicative skills of voice and body because "so little communication is grounded on bare word content...." (5) These skills include effective choices of and transitions in movement, stance, posture, and gesture (
kinesics).
Visual cues--including
kinesics (body movement, gesture, and posture); facial expression and gaze behavior; and nonverbal auditory cues such as pitch, volume, and rate--function in concert intentionally or inadvertently to communicate emotion.
