incontinentia pigmenti a·chro·mi·ens
(ə-krō′mē-əns)n. An inherited skin disorder characterized by the appearance of macules with less than normal pigmentation in a swirling or marble pattern, and associated with other abnormalities of the nerves, eyes, muscles, and bones. Also called hypomelanosis of Ito.
