bradykinin
[brad″e-ki´nin] a nonapeptide
kinin formed from a plasma protein, high-molecular-weight (HMW) kininogen by the action of kallikrein; it is a very powerful vasodilator that increases capillary permeability and, in addition, constricts smooth muscle and stimulates pain receptors.
