high-fructose corn syrup, the major ingredient in most sugary sodas and many other processed foods, as a fuel to increase rates of tumor growth," Cantley said.
In 2011, the company also introduced its ''Dr Pepper Ten,'' which it said had just enough
high-fructose corn syrup to overcome the taste of the artificial sweeteners that some people don't like.
Almost all include
high-fructose corn syrup; soy, corn or canola oil; soy lecithin and other soy isolates; or other additives derived from GM corn and soy.
The sugar content of
high-fructose corn syrup is typically 55 percent fructose; the rest is glucose.
