A popular term for the part of the back of the elbow containing a groove in which the ulnar nerve runs near the surface and is easily accessible to trauma. The severe pain experienced if the nerve is struck will evoke a conspicuous physical response that may seem funny to an unsympathetic observer. The victim is unlikely to be amused.
