FEM.In this work, the problem of unsteady MHD flow through porous medium in the presence of magnetic field between two parallel flat plates has been investigated and solved using the
FEM.The crack propagation was, to large extends, correctly predicted by the

The results of BSWI-SFEM are shown in Table 2 compared with conventional
FEM. It is evident that 1 BSWI-SFEM element can achieve a similar accuracy as 320 conventional Timoshenko elements.
The difficulty and the low efficiency of FEM updating of complex structures mainly lie in the large number of degrees of freedom (DOF) and the huge size of
FEM. Therefore, it is effective to improve the efficiency of FEM updating by the "indirect usage" of the analytical
FEM.
