muscular incoordination.
dyssynergia cerebella´ris myoclo´nica dyssynergia cerebellaris progressiva associated with myoclonus epilepsy.
dyssynergia cerebella´ris progressi´va a condition marked by generalized intention tremors associated with disturbance of muscle tone and of muscular coordination; due to disorder of cerebellar function.
detrusor-sphincter dyssynergia contraction of the urethral sphincter muscle at the same time the detrusor muscle of the bladder is contracting, resulting in obstruction of normal urinary outflow; it may accompany detrusor hyperreflexia or instability.

Characteristically, there is an impairment of voluntary command of micturition, impairment or loss of bladder sensation, detrusor contraction on external mechanical stimulation and sometimes unco-ordinated micturition due to detrusor-sphincter dyssynergia. There is also a positive ice-water test.

Urinary retention in women: urinary retention in women is often transient and of no known cause
Hyperesthesia was also frequently seen in the external urethral sphincter along with a hypertonic sphincter and detrusor-sphincter dyssynergia. Most patients had normal bladder compliance.
Chronic Pelvic Pain
Medically this is referred to as "detrusor-sphincter dyssynergia." Individuals with SCI also do not have bladder control to hold urine, so urine may leak from time to time (incontinence).
