In cats with 3.2-3.3 cm
crown-rump length, the external genitalia were first observed (Inomata et al., 2009).
Although the fetuses of both DRs and CRs were obtained in the morning 21 DPC, the weight (6.27 g versus 3.61 g),
crown-rump length (4.05 cm versus 3.30 cm), nasooccipital length (1.67 cm versus 1.34 cm), tail length (1.53 cm versus 1.34 cm), and waist circumference (1.45 cm versus 1.13 cm) were significantly lower among the morphologically normal fetuses of the DRs compared with those of the CRs (Table 4).
Given the inherent inter--and intraob-server variation in ultrasound measurements, he and his colleagues favor more conservative criteria for the definitive diagnosis of early pregnancy failure: a
crown-rump length cutoff of greater than 7 mm instead of 5 mm, and a mean gestational sac diameter cutoff of more than 25 mm.
Multiple regression analysis in the nondiabetic group demonstrated that for [log.sub.10] visfatin, there were no significant contributions provided by maternal age (P = 0.286), BMI (P = 0.429), smoking status (P = 0.816), method of conception (P = 0.275), parity (P = 0.275), racial origin (P = 0.449), or fetal
crown-rump length (P = 0.447).
Accuracy of gestational age estimation by means of fetal
crown-rump length measurement.
The
crown-rump length measurements of fetuses of women who screened positive were significantly shorter than fetuses of women for whom a negative screen result was obtained.
Of eight females captured on 30 March 1926 that were examined for reproductive activity, seven were pregnant with embryos averaging 17.4 (13-20) in
crown-rump length and one evinced no reproductive activity.
A 1999 American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) practice bulletin states that labor may be induced for logistic reasons such as psychosocial factors and distance from hospital, as long as 1 of these 4 criteria is met: (1) fetal heart tones have been documented for 20 weeks by nonelectronic fetoscope or for 30 weeks by Doppler; (2) it has been 36 weeks since a positive serum or urine human chorionic gonadotropin pregnancy test was performed; (3) ultrasound measurement of
crown-rump length, obtained at 6 to 12 weeks, supports a gestational age of at least 39 weeks; (4) ultrasound obtained at 13 to 20 weeks confirms the gestational age of at least 39 weeks determined by clinical history and physical examination.
Litter size, birth weight, and
crown-rump length were determined at birth, and pups were allowed to lactate and grow without additional herbicide exposure so that they could be subjected to additional immune, endocrine, and behavioral, studies, the results of which will be reported in a separate article.
macrotis (TTU 82468; embryo
crown-rump length = 27.5mm) was collected on 29 May 2001 at the same locality in BBRSP as the previously reported L.
The measurement should be dependent on
crown-rump length, he said.
