sitophobia
Fear of eating due to the unpleasant symptoms (e.g., nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain) that follow eating due to chemotherapy (a feature of chemotherapy-induced anorexia); it may also occur in Crohn’s disease and chronic mesenteric artery insufficiency. Unlike anorexia, there is an appetite, but it is curtailed by the anticipated emesis and nausea.Segen's Medical Dictionary. © 2012 Farlex, Inc. All rights reserved.
