The Techkon ColorEnsure feature, which automatically configures the SpectroDens to match the color measurement settings specified in a job, has been expanded to also include an instrument
calibration interval and reminder, as well.
Those components that are introduced within a
calibration interval (on a specific instrument using specific reagents), such as repeatability, between-operator, between-run, and between-day imprecision, are equal to the signal random error [[epsilon].sub.i] from these sources divided by the slope of signal vs concentration on the calibration curve at position .
These include a tool for Interval Analysis, which enables users to report quickly on device performance by scientifically analysing historical data and drift to allow informed and qualified
calibration interval recommendations (which may be longer than manufacturers' recommendations).
Note that the clock skew is considered to be constant during the
calibration interval. At the end of the calibration period, if a resynchronization is triggered (the time has come for the resynchronization), the node exchange timestamps with the reference (green area).
Determine your
calibration interval by checking TMDE's TB 43-180, Calibration and Repair Requirements for the Maintenance of Army Materiel.
The sensor's stability results in an extended
calibration interval of 12 months, reducing calibration time and maintenance costs.
For example, if testing is done at a time of year that provides a significantly varying temperature range over the antenna
calibration interval, the heating or cooling of the cable can introduce errors.
Students may further like to integrate measurements of the UV irradiance measured over the
calibration interval (Table 1) using different techniques to obtain more accurate estimates of the exposure for each dosimeter.
