Avoidable causes of corneal blindness in India are primarily childhood trauma, keratitis due to vegetative trauma, aphakic and pseudophakic
bullous keratopathy, astigmatism post cataract surgery and traditional eye medicines.
In literature there is another case report of
bullous keratopathy after RK [6].
Conclusion: Corneal collagen cross linking is a temporary but effective symptomatic treatment of pseudophakic
bullous keratopathy.
