(bū-bon'yū-lŭs),
1. An abscess occurring along the course of a lymphatic vessel.
2. One of a number of hard nodules, often breaking down into ulcers, which form along the course of acutely inflamed lymphatic vessels of the dorsum of the penis.

bubonulus

An inflamed and/or indurated lymphoid nodule undergoing abscessification in the inguinal region or dorsum of penis. The term was of waning use in the late 1980s, but was given a more specific definition in 2007: that of the primary stage of LGV infection accompanied by penile adenopathy and secondary local acute lymphoedema in an MSM (men who have sex with men) seropositive man.
