brephoplasty
brephoplasty
A little-used term for the transplantation of tissue to an animal recipient from an embryo or fetus of the same species; from the Greek root, brephos, for embryo. It is not used in the mainstream working medical parlance—the preferred term modern equivalent is foetal or embryonic tissure transplantation.Segen's Medical Dictionary. © 2012 Farlex, Inc.
