This seems to indicate that the filling used may promote
bone modeling of the alveolus and prevent the long-term contraction of the marginal ridge, which is consistent with other studies in which bone fillings were used alone or combined with osseointegrated implants.

bone modeling and brain function.40 Wilde et al41 demonstrated periostin (a 90 kDa protein) showing a divergent expression pattern in PDL fibroblasts and osteoblastic cells in alveolar bone surfaces even after 168 hours of tooth movement.
