bi·o·me·chan·i·cal frame of ref·er·ence
(bī'ō-mĕ-kan'i-kăl frām ref'ĕr-rĕns) 1. A set of ergonomic factors from which position or movement may be specified. Provides a means by which to perceive or evaluate biomechanical data.
2. An intervention used when a person cannot maintain a posture nor execute appropriate muscular activity because of neuromuscular or musculoskeletal dysfunction.
