biliary dyskinesia

An idiopathic disorder of bile motility linked to structural and/or functional abnormalities of Oddi’s sphincter, usually understood to mean increased sphincter pressure. It may cause recurrent abdominal pain in middle-aged women after cholecystectomy, even in absence of clinical evidence of biliary or pancreatic disease.

Management
Cholecystectomy.

Sphincter of Oddi dysfunction Gastroenterology An idiopathic syndrome linked to structural and/or functional abnormalities of Oddi's sphincter; it may cause recurrent abdominal pain in middle-aged ♀ after cholecystectomy, even in absence of objective evidence of biliary or pancreatic disease.
