A neonatal method used to assess developmental age.

Method
The examiner flexes the baby’s arm for 5 seconds, then fully extends it by pulling the hands and releasing it. If the arm remains fully extended, the response is accorded a 0; if the arm springs back to full flexion (< 90º), it is given a 4.
