argemone poisoning

Epidemic dropsy (oedema), a condition caused by mustard oil contaminated with extracts of the seeds of the poppy weed Argemone mexicana . There is fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, fluid retention, HEART FAILURE and GLAUCOMA.
