appendiceal lymphoma

An extremely rare (especially if proven to be primary), usually non-Hodgkin lymphoma arising in the appendix, which typically presents with a clinical picture simulating acute appendicitis.

Management
Most cases can be adequately managed by resection alone if low grade, or can be supplemented with radiation and chemotherapy if high grade.
