an·gle of tor·sion
the amount of rotation of a long bone along its axis or between two axes, measured in degrees; when this angle is oriented anteriorly, it is referred to as the angle of anteversion and most commonly describes the femur; when this angle is oriented posteriorly, it is the angle of retroversion and most commonly describes the humerus.
