The slide is washed under tap water and decolourised with acid alcohol (0.5% hydrochloric acid with 70% ethanol) for 2-4 minutes.
Sections were washed with PBS containing Tween and then incubated with 3,3'-diaminobenzidine tetrahydrochloride (DAB; ZSGB-Bio, China), stained with hematoxylin, differentiated with hydrochloric acid alcohol solution, treated with 1% ammonia, dehydrated with ethanol and dried overnight.
