Figure 3(a) shows the linear relationship between the
absorbency value and different reaction times of the test strip and [Hg.sup.2+] via the dipping-in method, which is that the paper-based test strip is dipped directly into the [Hg.sup.2+]-containing solution firstly and then pulled it out from the solution to measure the
absorbency.
The resultant fabric was analyzed for its comfort properties like air permeability,
absorbency, vertical wicking and drying time using SPSS software.
As is evident from figure 2, the water
absorbency of same fibers when coated with small bee honey was found in the range of 16.33 g/g to 21.64 g/g which is about 10% higher than the
absorbency of uncoated fibers.
Effect of Cation on Equilibrium Water
Absorbency. To investigate the influence of cation on swelling behavior of sample, some cations are chosen.
At the highest total dissolved substance of Tarim Basin formation water (212000 mg/L), notable
absorbency for SACF-4 was exhibited compared to that of SACF-2 during the 60 days of thermal ageing.
The orange dye solution showed minimal decrease in
absorbency due to centrifuging.
The CIE whiteness index of the treated samples were increased about 10%, 15%, and 20% and also the
absorbency of the samples were improved from 1.8 sec to 1.4 sec, 2.3 sec to 1.9 sec and 3.0 sec to 2.4 sec from the unwashed samples respectively.
Leachate Can Increase the Iron
Absorbency in Different Ways:
RepHresh Brilliant Tampons have been clinically proven to reduce vaginal pH to a normal range while providing excellent leak protection and
absorbency. This is important because menstrual fluids have an elevated pH, and traditional tampons simply absorb and retain those fluids.
Extra
absorbency: International Tray Pads & Packaging, Inc., an Aberdeen, N.C.-based provider of absorbent pads for fresh meat, fish, poultry and produce packaging, has developed technology that uses super-absorbent polymers.
Absorbency slows the rate of storm water run-off from the roof, resulting in less water in the sewer, and less overflow of untreated water into Long Island Sound and the East River.
