MPOWER is a policy package intended to assist in the country-level implementation of effective interventions to reduce the demand for tobacco, as ratified by the
World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control. The six evidence-based components of MPOWER are Monitor tobacco use and prevention policies, Protect people from tobacco smoke, Offer help to quit tobacco use, Warn about dangers of tobacco, Enforce bans on tobacco advertising, promotion and sponsorship and raise taxes on tobacco (MPOWER).
