Clinical Outcomes of Surgically Managed Ectopic
Ureters in 33 Dogs.
Pelvicalyceal System (PCS) and upper
ureters of both kidneys were normal and not dilated.
(6,15-17) Although a NET metastatic to the
ureter would be exceptionally rare, it has been reported at least once in the literature.
An allograft nephrectomy was performed at first, in which the middle and distal allograft
ureters were preserved because the distal tissue was not dissociated [Figure 1]a.
When the ureteric bud prematurely divides before penetrating the metanephric blastema, this results in an incomplete duplex with
ureters that meet before the bladder or a bifid renal pelvis.
Double
ureters also identified with mild fullness in left lower moiety
ureter.
From the kidneys, urine travels down two thin tubes, called
ureters, to the bladder.
The results showed that ultrasonography was quite good for identifying ureteroliths (stones in the
ureter causing blockage).
Although the aneurysm was not at a size that could cause mechanical compression, it still affected both
ureters and caused acute anuria.
-The ureterovesical junction, where the
ureters enter the smooth muscle wall of the bladder
"Difficult
ureters" were encountered in 13 patients (7.9%) in which Double J stents were placed under fluoroscopy and staged successful ureterorenoscopy were performed after 2 to 3 weeks without any complication.
