No Free Lunch
An international organisation and movement which seeks to change the current relationship between the health professions and the pharmaceutical industry. The industry’s patronage is both undeclared and unknown to the general public and takes the form of gifts—e.g., textbooks and honoraria, as well as hospitality in the form of free lunches —for attending meetings which present an often unbalanced view of therapies and pharmaceuticals.Segen's Medical Dictionary. © 2012 Farlex, Inc.
