Seventeen-J practice

A type of GP practice in Scotland which has a standard nationally negotiated agreement, with some local flexibility for GPs to opt-out of providing certain medical services (e.g., additional services) or to opt-in to provide other services (e.g., enhanced services), according to local circumstances. Section 17C practices are guided by the The NHS (Scotland) Act 1978, as amended under The Primary Medical Services (Scotland) Act 2004.
