Shazam's technology is simple: Upon hearing a song, listeners can simply access the
Shazam app, hold their smartphone close to the audio source, and within seconds get the title and artist and any additional relevant information presented to them.
Through the contract with
Shazam, Wantreez Music will receive the results of, on average, 20 million analyzed data a day, and from next month it is intended that the data will serve in aiding the selection of songs for stores.
